" They are now trying to locate ancient stairs that would lead them to the entry of the pyramids. "

If they were a " a stone age "super" civilisation " I am sure that they had an elevator.

Oh, a super civilization means very widespread and elaborate not technologically advanced. But again they may well find elevators. Elevators have been in use for thousands of years in one form or another.

You should! If people knew the fucking fortunes to be made from just simple to grand sized fossil and archaeological findings they would be digging like no tomorrow.

Dude down the road from me was putting in a ceptic tank once and found a mammoth skeleton complete. Broke the record books, made him a forturne.

If you found a complete T Rex you would be swimming in loot.

Europe's first pyramid?

Bosnia's leading Muslim daily Dnevni Avaz writes excitedly about "a sensational discovery" of "the first European pyramid" in the central town of Visoko, just north of Sarajevo.

Excavations at a hill site above the town have been going on for several months and initial analyses "have confirmed the original claim that this is Europe's first pyramid and a monumental building, similar in dimensions to the Egyptian pyramids."

"The pyramid is 100 metres high and there is evidence that it contains rooms and a monumental causeway ... The plateau is built of stone blocks, which indicates the presence at the time of a highly developed civilisation," the daily explains.

"Archaeological excavations near the surface have uncovered a part of a wall and fragments of steps," it reveals.

"Visocica hill could not have been shaped like this by nature," geologist Nada Nukic tells the daily. "This is already far too more than we have anticipated, but we expect a lot more from further analysis," she concludes.

It's a new discovery so it'll have to wait for the scientific papers to be published. Usually via the colleges the scientists attend or National Geographic or the archaeology sites and papers. It's going to take decades to excavate these finds. Archaeology is a very, labor intensive and meticulous science. each quarter inch to half inch of soil has to be slowly sifted and all artifacts from teeth to hairpins have to be catalogued at their respective depths. A real pain in the ass as the artifacts have to be drawn by hand by the researcher. That part I hated. You can spend a lifetime at just one acre sized sight digging and cataloguing and hoping your funding doesn't run out.

Awesome! I can't wait for the documentary. It could finally open the door to what we knew all along, there were civilizations far larger and older than history presently dates. We now know the Sphinx is far older than the Pyramids of Giza. Maybe 15,000 years old at the least. Stories of civilizations like Atlantis may just be true.
