I don't promote the real big guys. I have no clue who uses mpa3. But im sure we can figure it out. It can only be a few.

It is not a marketing stunt at all. Their lawyers have told them to not go public with who it is. They could be held accountable for that and it can have a negative affect on them. I have spoken with people from Mansion regarding this and they are taking this very seriously.

The reason they issued a statement to begin with is so that once they cut off this program, that the program could not go and start flaming them for shutting them down. Someone was caught stealing plain and simple, you should be thanking Mansion for making sure they protect their system and the people who purchase their liscense. When the time is right it will be made known who it was. Also think by BIG sponsor it means someone doing big amounts of joins, not big on GFY. That's a big difference. The program that it is/was is not online right now. That's all the info I have.

People calling this a sham are just trying to drum up so silly GFY drama.

I understand you there man, but not all companies that do large amounts of joins are big on GFY. Some are Euro companies that use MPA3, and others are big in mailing themselves. So it may not be someone who has tons of webmasters pushing them. There are a lot of variables do consider. I also would like to know who it is, but in time we all will. Start typing in all the programs you can think of and see who is not online right now, that will get you your answer.

I do not understand what could be "Negative Impact". If it is true, its true, and there is nothing that can be done about it legally or otherwise.

Look at mainstream for example. Companies do some bullshit it is reported exactly what they did and when. For example Sony corporation copied Sandisk's flash memory cards patent, guess what. It was reported and found out and ultimatly San Disk Succesfully defended itself and its patent products.

There was not a fuck all Sony could say about the truth and the theft of the patent technology.
