    i got a real job

    my blogs/websites take up to 2 or so hours a day to run, and none of you fucks wanted to hire me for anything, so i got a real job a few weeks ago

    suprisingly it makes me a shitload of a lot more money than my websites do, its for the sales department at a bank

    this post makes me feel like lil2rich4u2


    anyone else here work a 'real' job?

                  ummmm my real job is online... I will admit sitting at the crib makes me go nuts some days , thats why I take advantage of the laptop. If your blogs werent making you enough money why didnt you expand to other types of sites or more blogs? Just curious.                                           I work 3 days a week programming the back end for a company that handles online credit card transaction processing and pre-paid debit card solutions.

                                          Although right now my websites are actually making me much more money than that job, having a wife and child keeps me from dropping the programming gig.

                                                      The internet is a "Real" job, some of us make some serious money,.....far more than you can ever make at a bank. Maybe you weren't cut out for the internet? Not everyone can figure out how to make it on the net, it's not as easy as most people think when they start, and it's not as easy as it was back in the 90's. Best of luck with your new Real job

                                                                                      I have been working for the man ever since highschool..over 20 years ago.There was no internet,so I had to work.I do ok with the adult stuff,not as well as I could if I was fulltime.But it is hard to give up on 30 bucks an hour with a pension and all the benefits on something that obviously isn't working for me.I consider Adult as a hobby and treat it as such.

                                                                                              In all honesty, I have not had an out-of-the-house job since 1999 when I was 17. God that shit sucked hardcore - working for someone else for shitpay. No thank you. I have been doing adult since 2000 and been working every day since then. I don't think it is actually possible for me to go get a job working for someone else where my pay is given to me every friday and its not based on what I can actually do sales wise. I think if I ever had to get a job working for someone else one day, It would HAVE to be some kind of sales job where I get paid on commission. I love being able to get paid for what I have done, that way the more I work and the more creative I am, the more money I make.

                                                                                                  Brizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzad: have you ever thought about opening up an offline business? That way you can work X amount of hours at home, then go to your other business/office and work. I'd be more into opening up another business offline before I went to work for someone else. Creative thinking and working my own hours have spoiled me.

Most of my friends either don't understand the web part or would be offended by the porn part, so that makes it even more so. I'm too spoiled to work for anyone else though. Going back to 9 -5 would be a tough adjustment.
