80% do not know what either mean.
19% assume dial up with an accellerator is broadband. The remaining 1% are webmasters trying to sell to that 99%

I believe I heard recently that the number of broadband users *finally* exceeded the number of dial-up users (in the USA). So, it's at least more than 50% broadband.
