After speaking to a guy who owns an import shop and modifies WRX's and EVO's all day long, I say get the EVO. They're faster, handle better and respond to modifications better than the WRX. Also, the new WRX design is fucking ugly as sin.

I would say go with the Lancer. The Evo rocks but sucks when driving. Too harsh. The Lancer is and will be easier to maintain and modify. But it is a matter of opinion. Some like the Evo and some like the WRX. If you are looking to get massive power out of the car, then go with the WRX. But if you want more streetable power, go with the Lancer.

I have been looking at the same cars for a while.
I am going to wait another year, and hope the EVO gets a new design.
Here in Australia there are lotssss of WRX's on the raod.
