I'm proud to say that despite growing up in the 70's I never owned that album.

You know, there is alot to be said for that. It's nostalgic for me to listen to vinyl...

...there's nothing quite like it...it's almost mysterious and dark when you listen to it like that.

I was raised on vinyl as were many of you and CD's and MP3's just lose that in translation. That little crackle of the needle and shit is something special that will eventually be lost.

You ever listen to the original House of the rising sun on vinyl? Hell I got Black Sabbath's debut on vinyl and there is nothing that even comes close to how that album sounds. It's fuckin spooky.

"What is this that stands before me? Figure in black which points at me..."

You don't get to work with the likes of Steve Marriott, Harry Nilsson, Jerry Lee Lewis, and George Harrison without having talent. Maybe that talent wasn't overworked when he sang into a guitar on "Do You Feel..." but that track still rocks and no collection from the 70's should be without it.

Frampton is still recording and touring. After 911 he became an American citizen as a mark of support for the US...
