httpd.conf file - weird ...
One of the domains in my httpd.conf file has a different IP set for it from all the other ones... It also had a typo when I went at looked at the path. I changed the path on my server to the typo location and still nada ...
So I went and ran a trace.. it is giving me the ip of xx.xx.xx.65 when in the httpd.conf file it is set to xx.xx.xx.66 - Does anyone have any idea why this might be happening and what I could do to fix the problem ? |

I went ahead and changed my host... They don't reply quickly enough for me so I am moving to somewhere that does.. The problem was there were 10 entries in the httpd.conf as possible ip's that could be used..
lets say 1.1.1.1 1.1.1.2 all sites in the httpd.conf file used 1.1.1.1 as the ip associated with it but when I did a whois one of the domains was pointing towards 1.1.1.2 even though in the htppd.conf it was listed as 1.1.1.1 along with every other domain... Possibly forgot to reboot the server? Not really sure, but there was even a typo in the path .. Off to a different host nbow so I guess it doesn't matter much |
