You sure she wasnt a bot?

The chief called, he said whenever your done crying you can cruise on down to the station and get your dignity back.
|
It's a hard one - cops who I have dealt with have been both bad and good (some so close to being retarded it wasn't funny). I think as someone else has mentioned they seem to exert way too much force/law for minor things.
re thread - i wouldn't take it any further. You live in a small town and it will only cause you more grief. |
call them any name you want, but the police are not paid to lose fights. If it takes 1 cop or a hundred, they will win the fight.

removing the thumbstrap is only one of the safeties. Most holsters have 2-3 safeties, it still will not come out with the thumbstrap off. you still have to press the weapon down and rock it back to get it out and sometimes remove another strap.
so undoing a strap and having your hand on the weapon is a non issue. Quote:

I suggest getting a new car.

i know, but i was trying to make a point... furthermore, the general public doesnt know about different retention levels on holsters. therefor, undoing the thumb break even though the triggerguard safety is still engaged might be construed as an ' aggresive action'. |
you have some serious issues. You dont get it, you are the pig, you are the looser. Get some anger management and get your act together. You give people a bad name.

If the law on the street level is that bad, it may be because of the quality of recruitment from paying peanuts? For anyone to start a career as a rookie cop, they gotta be (a) willing to work for nothing (b) genuinely interested in law enforcement or (c) have a stupid power-complex defect or (d) can't get employment elsewhere. I'd hope most were in (b). Anyone seriously interested in the justice system, don't exactly spend their life in a uniform driving a cruiser - it's a very wide field that requires a range of talents in a variety of agencies. Real cops ain't interested in revenge for some verbal bullshit in a street where no crime was committed. I can think of one woman officer who would give a wry grin at the thought of us hypothesizing on GFY and wondering if that's all we gotta fucking bother about. :winkwink: She's been shot, stabbed, raped and had more MRI scans that I had breakfasts, but, despite that, she would listen hard and be quietly sympathetic to spacedog and hear where he's coming from - it's a people thing - she would be discussing "women stuff" with spacedog's wife within five minutes. :winkwink: That may be the difference tween an asshole officer and a real one. |

BTW,,,if you're a guy, why does your sig say I'm such a sexy girl or something like that????? :error ??? |
holy shit, is this spacedog circa 2001? anyways, 99% of cops are doosh nozzels and hard up pricks. Bull dyke pigs are worse than the redneck sheriffs IMO especially if you spend a night in jail. they love to yell at you....
|
confirmed, only the original spacedog will do such thread :)

you should've asked her nicely to massage your testicles, that always calms them down

Follow thru on complaints and send them to more than one if it happened the way you described. Where do you live again? Most cops are decent people, but you get the few that are bitter, pissed off and dislike their jobs/shift hours and just go looking for people to take it out on.
|
Interesting thread so far. On the cop's side of it, she most likely wasn't sure if you were trying to steal the car or if you were it's owner. There may have been pre-existing reports of auto thefts in the area, causing her to be wary of you.
On the other side of it, it would be nice if all cops could do their job from the standpoint of serving the public and the public's interest and leave the ego and the control freak thing at home. Fact is she could have dealt with this incident quite well without the mouthy "I'm the man" attitude and just asked to see your license and registration/proof of ownership and then offered to help instead of what she did. Some cops are pretty good people who do their job effectively while knowing when to bring out the attitude and when not to. But far too many other cops seem to put on the uniform and then think they're tough because they have the uniform on. For every story of heroism and bravery in the face of danger etc where cops have excelled there are two where cops have offended people, abused their power, abused their position, and/or downright shit on citizens for their own gain or amusement. That includes everything from snide attitude-filled orders and comments that are ego-driven, right up to twisting and stretching the law to suit their own agendas. Sadly, like in any field, the bad ones ruin it for the few good ones. I've known many cops, some I even consider friends, but too many other's I've known or been around scored an A+ on the Ego 101 part of their training. |
maybe you're just upset 'cause she never got undressed?

I think it's a damn good idea to replace a haunting traumatic episode with fantasies of the same scenario, but with a totally different outCUM!
