My fat little doggy doesnt feel good anymore :(

He is 10 years old and obese. Pomeranians can live pretty long. If I walk him more and watch his diet do you think he will feel better or is he just too old

You need your dog's vet to handle that problem.

little dogs can and do live long lives - alot longer than 10 - as long as mid to late teens. but he is getting old so you can't expect him to be the same dog he was a few years ago. yes - he will feel better if he loses weight and you take him for a good walk every day. any vet will give you the good name of a diet dog food - Science Diet is great.
I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!

My Australian Cattle Dog is 12, which is in the age range when they usually kick the bucket, but she's still as peppy as a puppy.

I think you need to bring him to a vet. so that
you'll know what will be the right thing to do.

Ask your vet for advice, it's the safest way to do right now!

How did it become obese? Didn;t you walk with the dog? To much foot? Or is the dog sick?

I walk around 2+ hours a day on the beach/in the woods with my dog, to keep him(and me) in shape

Anyway, best thing todo is going to the vet, and ask him what todo. When you walk normally like 10 minutes a day and you start walking for hours it will kill him...

Umm I almost never walk him I'll start with 10 minute a day like you said. And yes, he has food 24 horus a day and always has. That might have to change.
