Either that or he is too stupid to verify information before putting it in front of the judge.

He claimed moveon.org was selling a T-shirt of DeLay's mugshot and since the judge contributed $200 to moveon.org during Kerry's candidacy that he should be recused from the case and the trial moved to another jurisdiction.

That was enough to get the proceedings quickly put on hold until a higher judge can hear the defense's complaint against Judge Bob Perkins. The truth is that moveon.org is not selling such alleged shirt...

Prosecutor Ronnie Earle called the defense motion "absurd" and said, "Membership in a political party does not determine the quality of justice in this country."

This is almost as funny as their trying to claim that it wasn't money laundrying since it involved checks rather than "funds"
