                                                      friend of mine had his leg squashed between his bike and a car and had/has heaps of bolts thru is ankle and leg. Some have been removed but he still has a heap there.

                                                                                      I had 2 titanium when i severly broke my ankle, it twisted all the way around. Just got them taken out in August. I have them sitting next to me. They are extremely tough screws made in Switzerland.

                                                                                                      I never thought it looked that bad either. Doctors are amazing at that stuff, its when the prescribe medications is when I don't trust them.

                                                                                                                          I broke a few ribs about 6 months ago, and right when they healed, I broke another 4. It sucks but I love to ride.

                                                                                                                          Lots of other close calls too. I was just to stubborn to go to the doctors to see if anything was broken. I just let it heel up.
