It is sad that, somewhere along the line, children grew up without knowing how to dress for a job interview....they don't know to take out the tongue ring, the piercings, put on a decent pair of fitted pants...just for the interview..to make that impression. They mumble and no one can understand what they're saying.

As to the bling? Some of these chains are ridiculous, no matter who wears them. From the days of Mr. T with his 'slave' statement bling around his neck to now. Who is anyone kidding? I love gold. I love jewelry. Is it because I'm a Jew? Probably. But, at least I don't get neck injuries from the weight.

I agree, I think to ask them to wear suits is not a big deal at all but to ask them not to wear their jewellery is out of line. I wear a lot of jewelery if someone asked me not to wear it I would be mad.

that is fucked up ... that guy was a friend of mines uncle ..they never found him ..just vanished .. he even sent tons of apologies and explained it was an accident to John himself ... he had family also .. then one day he goes out and never comes back ... he was just a regular guy that worked hard ... not very cool ..Mob on Mob crime is one thing ..

I just wish that schools would enforce dress codes again....and offer 'how to live in the real world' classes, so this could be prevented...

They are employees being told by their boss to follow a dress code ... nothing more, nothing less. I think it's a good thing.

well personally i think as idolized as they are they should be required to dress when at social functions and not act like its not a job because to me it is and a very important one because many children look up to them on how to act

The NBA has announced that a dress code will go into effect at the start of the season. Players will be required to wear business-casual attire when involved in team or league business. They can't wear visible chains, pendants or medallions over their clothes.
