I think the problem is he does have great performances but alot of shitty movies.

when he was nominated for shawshank he was up against tom hanks as forest gump..
as much as Shawshank is my favorite movie... Gump was a better acting role. |

He's been is some really good movies. Only a few bad ones. He's excellent at what he does. He was pretty good in Batman Begins, but his part wasn't very big. STILL did a great job though.
