Les is certainly one of the greats. I never studied the man only because he plays a 6 string bass. You can't come close to his sound or technique on a regular 4 string bass. It would sound stupid and anyone telling you that My name is mud is easy to play almost certainly isn't playing it right. Unless they play a 6 string fretless.

Tim is a crazy good drummer as well. Is he still playing with them?

Anyways, pick something with 4 strings and we are golden. My nuts can only play 2 strings at a time. :)

Yeah Tim joined back up with them year before last I believe. I saw them last year with the original members. Fucking awesome show. :thumbsup

You guys should all download Guitar Pro 4's Free Demo Version. Then you could tab in your separate parts and then pass it around to each other. I used to do that a couple of year's ago, except we would tab out actual songs we liked. It's a great learning tool for learning songs as well. You can then submit your songs to mysongbook afterwards for the world to see and comment/rate on.
