Theres just something that makes you feel good with an AK-47

Maybe its the fact you're ready to take on a crowd of looters after chemical disaster, or the look in the eyes of the guy who see's you with an ak at the hip (30 rounds of hallow points) when he breaks in your house & the motion sensors go off.

I'd hump it, but i might get a splinter.

I picked this up last month (or 2 weeks prior) my mems foggy ( ). I plan on adding a folding stock & flash hider.

Thats months down the road, i gotta get used to her first

whats one of those run now a days?

i had an sks when i was 15 i paid 100 bucks for. dropped another 200 bucks into it and it looked fucking nasty

folding stock, tripod n scope. my mother seen it one day and was like holy fuck. youve got a fucking machine gun?

I used to have a chinese made ak47 with the big drum. I would shoot it out in the desert about a hour outside Los Angeles and my arms would tire before I could empty it. People would park old wrecks out there to tear up; the 7.62 rounds would go through engine blocks like butter.

I certainly was glad to have it when I lived downtown during the Rodney King riots. (Also had a sweet Galil .308) We had huge groups of people circling our loft screaming "we're coming to get you!" My wife and I drove up to a cop and asked what we should do and told him how we and others in our building were armed. His exact words to us were "well don't just start shooting people but if they cross your threshold then unload your clip."

ATF did eventually confiscate mine but that of course is a whole other story.

Dangerous with how? In a locked room? With no round in the chamber?

It took me a week to figure out how to chamber a round in my AR15, i doubt a child will figure it out.

I've had a gun since 5 (crossmaster 500 pump pellet gun), i was then raised to a semi auto .22 marlin (20rounds) at 12, taught over & over again proper usage, storage & cleaning. I've since taken my concealed permit class which goes over all legal aspects.

No its not illegal to not have your guns locked up & yes i practice 20 years of experience when it comes to safety. Never in 20 years had an incident.

Except the time i shot out a window with my bb gun when i was 10, man i got in some shit for that.

For what it's worth, we've got a rough equivalent of guns-per-capita here in Canada with virtually no gun violence. We don't even generally use them for suicides (some hundred or so every year, if I recall the stats correctly).

The problem isn't with the guns, it's with the attitude, really. Ready availability of guns just make it easy to let attitude devolve into homocide, and myopic politicos decide that because they can't change people's shitty attitudes towards each other, at least they can try to make it harder for people to slaughter each other with ease.

I'd spring for the underfolder if I were you, I have the itch to get an underfolder AK-47 to add to the Reminton 870 I have now.

It was explained to me early on that one way to prevent looters from raiding your home when the shit hits the fan is to have one dead looter on the front lawn after a close range hit from your shotgun.

One half of a looter here, and the other half there has this strong psychological effect with other looters.
