      I know that this is going to sound stupid, but anyone that I want to look up has at least some part of a common name. The searches are almost impossible without other information.

      What I'd like to see is a search that would allow you to put in facts about what you know about a person as well as their name and then return more relevant results.

          Yes, but i don't think it fits right to the background of the searchee.
