From the Miramar Airshow last Saturday. I've got lots more (661 to be exact..lol) Let me know if you guys wanna see others from the airshow.

Ok... at this point, you'll notice the white truck on the right side in the above pic.... Well... right behind it, were 2 ATV-riding, gun-toting marines. One of them raced over towards me, yelling "NO PICTURES FROM THE REAR! NO PICTURES FROM THE REAR!" I lowered the camera and he asked if I had already taken a picture from the rear, I said that I didn't (it was true).

Then I walked away... chased after the convoy again, and snapped this picture.

And, this was an amazing display of the Blue Angels capabilities:

i remember being in preschool 4 years old and seeing four blue angels fly over our school during recess. they were so close to the ground that it damn near deafened me.. loud fuckin things when they're flying overhead.

Joint Strike Fighter
According to the guy at the display, the first bomb will be dropped in 2012. This is the Airforce version of the plane.

The vertical take-off/landing is the Harrier... coming up in just a few minutes...

Wow... I would love to see a F-117 that close. A few years back one flew right over my parents house and it was the most awesome site I have ever seen... It was so low!

Last time I was in California I drove by Miramar and a F-16 or F-18 flew right over me. I'd love to live near there...

I'd be outside all day.

No clue.. I had no idea they were even talking to me til the dude raced over on the ATV... Someone suggested it might be due to the exhaust and the way it dissipates heat signatures, etc....

If you look for f-117a pictures online, you'll typically not see rear end pics... and you'll almost always see an armed dude standing right there...
