that's right, it seems like the smut-filled world of southern california just isn't enough for us - we're flying to the next best tawdry town i can think of - scottsdale, arizona! truthfully, Halcyon & i were in a film documentary and photographed in a steel box at Burning Man, all of which will be featured at the exhibit located at Chiaroscuro Contemporary Art, 7160 E. Main St., Scottsdale.

now, we'd love to see some of our fellow smut peddlers from the valley of the sun while we do this one night driveby on our way to Barcelona to visit the new FLASHCA$H offices - but having moved away from AZ myself about a year and a half ago, my navigation of the downtown scottsdale area is hazy. can anyone tell me what's closeby the above address that would be good for a chill ambient meet up? my first thought was a place more like suede, and less like axis-radius (hopefully that comparison narrows it down).

any suggestions? we'll be in PHX this Thursday night, leaving Friday!

I wish Princess Cameron and I were in town

. I live less than a mile from that address. If you guys are looking for an awesome place to have dinner and a few drinks, I highly recommend AZ88. Its a big modern restaurant in a beautiful environemnt right by your show's location. DJ spins a variety of music. Mostly chill stuff. Its very tricky to spot so here ya go http://www.az88.com/directions.htm From there I would check out E4. Its a brand new club with 4 different environments, Earth, Air, Water and Fire. They spent some bucks on this joint. Its right next to Mickey's Hangover. Have fun!

awh bummer! i wish you guys were in town too. =( i remember AZ88, though i remember it as a great spot for gay men to hang out/find other gay men; not that there's anything wrong with that.

i will check out E4 - that sounds interesting! i was also thinking of Casbah or that dark little martini bar in the Biltmore across from Houston's/under the movie theatre's there. i'm blanking on the name of it, but i used to go there a lot. i probably had about 2000 too many martinis though...

You are thinking of the Merc bar. As for AZ88, I think the gay crowd is on the weekend. I never noticed too much of that on weekdays when I take Cameron there for dinner.
