          I heard the fourth one is gunna be lame.

          How the fuck can you be serious with guys like Tom Hanks and Russel Crow in a maffia movie?

          I know they are great actors, and have won many awards, more than all the Godfather movies put together but can they carry a maffia film with lead roles?

                                  I liked the old Godfather best, when he used to walk down to the ring with his "hoooooe train", now he has to call them escorts instead, which isn't as good as the old days.

                                          wow.. thats incredible.. tom hanks.. it just seems a little.. i mean .. eh... at least russel's got the gang violence thing in romper stomper, the regal head of a clan thing going in gladiator etc.. i don't know what it is but i tom hanks movie is always distinctly very.. well.. full of tom.. maybe if one of the mafia girls was Meg Ryan and the new don had to go through a series of mildly humourous misadventures or something..

                                                                                                                                          I think FordCoppola fucked up by casting his daughter but other than that it wasn't as bad as my mom who directs likes to boast... I mean unless you look at the movie through a director's eyes you won't notice the fuckups... don't ever watch your fav movie around her she'll ruin it.

                                                                                                                                              There is not going to be a 4th one... They planned on doing it awhile ago with Leonardo DiCaprio possibly playing a younger Sunny Corleone (flash backs) and starring andy garcia... but after puzo died they said they wont be making 4th.

But nonetheless they should stick to casting paisans for movies like the Godfather. Anglo actors just don't cut it. Studios are only concerned about the almighty dollar, not about authenticity.
