Yeah, so what WOULD do $10k do in Costa Rica, or Thailand or the Philippines?

sh33p 10-28-2005 12:43 AM

An igloo in Canada is $50/month. That includes a polar bear to keep you warm.

SilverTab 10-28-2005 12:51 AM

mm it depends on a lot of factors I guess...but montreal isn't really that expansive...I pay 1000$/MO for a loft in one of the nice areas of montreal(plateau for those familiar with mtl)...BUT I spend a lot LOL...but.. I'd say around 2.5/3k CND a month and you're happy! :)

I spend $500/month, and i live a nice life, always eating out and going out.
I could spend only $300 and keep a decent life style.

Romania isn't the only place where you don't need a lot of money to live.... A lot of nice countries in Eastern Europe are very pleasant to live, and very cheap (Bulgary, Hungary, Slovenia....)

Hi discoparty,
I am from Bulgaria :pimp

fishball 10-28-2005 10:22 AM

woj 10-28-2005 10:22 AM

$100k/year.........

pornguy 10-28-2005 10:24 AM

You can live nicely here for about 1800 a month.

betsy 10-28-2005 10:25 AM

We just did our budget so we could get a mortgage.... it was pretty depressing. It looks like about 7k a month for me and my husband in the Bay Area, if we want the house - about 5k a month if we keep renting.

Veterans Day 10-28-2005 10:27 AM

60-80k and you can relax nicely

Young 10-28-2005 10:29 AM

Studio apartments go for $1k-$1,200k, car insurance is amongst the highest in the country, taxes are out of control, and this has been determined to be the most expensive place for a family of four to live.
