In all my years I've never seen it this way.. Even after 9/11 sales slowed for a few days but not even close to this shit.

I've noticed too...

Since 2001 you could follow the trends like clockwork. Same traffic, very similar sales. A few blips along the way were easily explainable.

However, like you say, the last six months or so.... Unexplainable wild swings in sales and trends.

Across ALL my sites and products, mainstream and not, whichever processor I use.

Anybody got any theories?

having just got into adult, expanding from mainstream.. i've been wondering if it was always this volatile. same traffic to one sponsor generated 13 sales one sunday, next sunday made 3. next friday made 9, next friday made 2. bump for someone with a viable theory here. all my sponsors im trying are this volatile. someone spam me with *consistently converting* sponsors. i'd rather it be 3x worse ratios, if they're consistent.

I would say it has to do with the processor not the program.

All processors scrub. which makes total sense for fraud control.. some scrub harder on diffren't days.

thats my theory.

It's very simple... sometimes you have a good day because people that are going to spend money all visit your site on the same day. The other day, you have a lot of people that don't buy anything. And then the next day you have that group of people again that are willing to spend money.

Flea Markets are fun! You can get real steals on collectibles if you know your stuff.

Also if you don't mind spending a day selling, its a great way to clean out your old computer junk.
