Whether you agree with what Chris did or not, the simple fact is they are using obscenity as an excuse to go after him.

The thing we need to think about is, what if they do this in your town? What if you get caught fucking the mayor's wife and they decide to charge you with distributing obscene materials. Essentially this is what has happened here.

Just my :2 cents: and something to think about.

No, I mean if you don't use a bail bondsman.

No one here disagrees with him and this has happened before in other cities.

No, I mean if you don't use a bail bondsman.

Your guilt or innocence has nothing to do with bail being returned. Your bail money is refunded (less any court admin fees or any bail bondsman admin fees) once the default conditions of your bond are met.

Bond is seperate from any fine the court may impose as a part of sentencing.

Part of the problem in this case is you have 302 counts. Bail must be paid on each of those counts.

Wonder why the bail was set at 151,000? Kind of an odd number, but it sets it so that each charge is $500 each, and 10% of that of course, is 50 dollars. So they must pay $50 for each of the 302 counts.

In florida, the bond must be at least $100 to be posted. See anything funny here?

And the only way it's not returned is if you don't show up?

There can be additional bond requirements (i.e. not leaving the courts jurisdiction, no contact with an individual or group, staying away from schools, etc.) and breaking any of the bonds terms CAN lead to the forfeiture of bond.

If found guilty bond may also be held over and applied to fine(s) incurred at a result of the conviction, so there may be no cash returned.
