askmen.com, with it's consistant updateds & wealth of info is why i bookmarked it years ago. though i think krl is a cool guy, men.com will never be any real competition...

Not all projects will be hugely successful,

KRL never bragged about the domain name as well other then mentioning the sale, so you guys should just shut the fuck up please. From what I see, he's just one of us testing things out, seeing what works and what doesn't , Thats perfectly fine.

I think some of the advice in this previous thread was pretty good as well, Espcially the one where you need to think out of the box , with a different idea, This would differenatie you from askmen.com

One of my best friends owns Ask Men. They started out just three guys and worked their asses off and kept plugging away. Now they are part of the IGN-FOX Network. Pretty kick ass if you ask me

You'd be surprised how much they sold for. AskMen is the biggest Men's magazine online. They are about double the size of Mazim online. Look at the timeline. IGN bought AskMen to boost their portfolio and secure the $650million sale to Fox. AskMen is worth more than you think

They were bought buy ign only a few months ago. Prior to that they were run independantly with I would assume a much lower budget than Men.com. They just knew how to get the most out of every $$$$.

Look, askmen.com had the employees and executive power to make all their shit happen.

men.com's owners are probably still stuck in their porn high. Being a millionaire doesn't make you a business executive by financial authority either.
I disagree. They started AskMen.com in their last year of university. No prior business experience. No outside help. Little Capital. Just hard work and natural smarts.
