If you're running XP (and have an XP disk), you can also reinstall IE.

Start->Run:

rundll32.exe setupapi,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 132 %windir%\Inf\ie.inf

I agree and am wondering why you don't like firefox?? Is there like a real reason or are you just comfortable with using a billion Internet Explorer instances when working with multiple sites? Ever since I found firefox i've ditched MSIE completely. I even state so on most of my sites...here's an excerpt from one:

Well I'll be honest, my husband is "sort of" computer literate but he's so used to internet explorer that I would hate to change browsers on him I'm afraid he might get lost lol. So here is what I did.

I downloaded firefox but didn't make it the default browser and put it in a folder where he can't get confused by it LOL.

I finally fixed Internet Explorer. I had to go in the regedit and do it that way. It took me a little while but now it's back to normal. Something had my shit all jacked up.
