Anyone have a kegerator?

I'm having a bar put into into the new house and was just wondering about kegerators. How long can a keg last after being hooked up in one? Of course it would always be cold..

haha, actually we have had a keg longer then a few days. If it stays cold and always hooked up to the fridge deal it should be ok for alot longer then a few days I would think.

i have this one http://www.beermeisters.com/enlarge.html , and with the co2 at the right pressure, and the proper temp the keg lasts for months. if the beer gets too warm for just a little too long, it will start to referment and you have to chuck it.

I have a Beer Tender (click "Ja").
Lots of people in NL have one

You can leave an opened keg in there for 3-4 weeks.

36-38F to the glass, meaning the temp of the beer once its in your glass is 36-38, the rator is set to a degree or two below that so by the time it hits your glass its the proper temp.
