Discuss what's fucking going on, and which programs are best and worst. One-time "program" announcements from "established" webmasters are allowed. |

Spam - Good Or Bad ?
As supposedly everyone here is in the adult industry we all know there is a certain element that spams our inboxes everyday with signups for programs that more than likely weve seen or actually promote
Do you think spam is good or bad ? give your reasoning for your answer If you think its bad : should we do something about the spammers - ie have a forum where there emails can be posted and accounts terminated ? can we actually do something to clean up adult related spam ourselves ? what are the program owners opinions on spam emailers promoting them ?

I can't even give an intelligent answer to this question. Isn't it quite obvious that E-Mail Spam is only second to Spyware as the biggest piece of shit thing someone could possibly do.

I like it, gives me marketing ideas, and keeps me in touch with whats selling, and whats working. As long as you have it go to a special place/folder where you can sift through when you want, I actually quite enjoy it.

I think it's important to know the difference between SPAM and Networking! Always makes me laugh to see how many people don't understand that!

The way I see things - email spam is primarily unsolicited most times. As for Usenet/Yahoo/MSN etc. - people go there searching for free shit. Since the vast majority of the "free shit" is illegally given away by copyright infringers...why shouldn't the actual producers and creators use the same forums to advertise the source. I might requalify "spam" to mean good spam (i.e. on-topic postings that contain some decent quality image(s) worthy of the wankers' time).
