    How accurate is my sig?

    I know that all geo databases have their quirks and anomalies but I am trying to get a feel for the number of incorrectly targetted cities on the db I use (maxmind). A friend of mine gets shown a city that's not even in his country but it seems the adultfriendfinder db targets him not too far from the city he's actually in, as does sexsearch.

    I'd be interested to know what other geo dbs there are out there besides maxmind and ip2location.

    Let me know if you've been targetted accurately, slightly off base, way off base or just plain not targetted at all.

                                          I dont get these damn GEo scripts lately. All of em give me a fucking Jacksonville location (FLA I assume) and im in Kentucky. Been awhile since I saw any hits for Kentucky. Used to see a few in Lexington or Louisville

                                              hi bjjb, if your ISP is FL based that would explain it. The IPs would be registered to an FL org. For example, I'm in Scotland, but the db says I'm in London. If I change to a local ISP (Scottish based), it tags me correctly as being in Edinburgh.

                                              AFF, use to say I was in New York, but now it says I'm in London, which is inline with all other geo databases. I'd like to know which db AFF and sexsearch use.

He's in Joure, Netherlands but the database spits out Polle. Polle isn't even in The Netherlands although it does seem to be a place in Germany (unsure of this fact).

                                                                                                  I'm hoping for at least a 60% "near" accuracy rate and it seems I'll be hovering around that mark. 80% would have been better but that's not going to be possible anytime soon; I'm sure it will eventually get there.

Is the text cut off? I noticed that on some long city names it does cut off if the graphic is not big enough and I turn wrapping off.
