Internet Explorer Issue

Am having a peculiar issue with IE in that I can open up a site and if I right click to open a link in a new window (or the site have the link set to open in a new windows), the resulting page seems to crash. Links opened in the same IE window are fine.

I have tried a repair on IE but that did nothing to fix the problem.

Has anyone experienced this and successfully corrected it short of reinstalling the OS?

Cheers ...

SP2 is installed so this is obviously not what is causing the issue. Normally, knowing that others are experiencing the same issues helps to allieviate annoyance at the issue; not this time however.

Damn IE drives me nuts too. It's simply not as good as the alternative browsers. Though some sites you need to open with it. I primarily use Firefox.
