Discuss what's fucking going on, and which programs are best and worst. One-time "program" announcements from "established" webmasters are allowed.

Ahhh someone didn't want an avalanch of webmasters making followup calls to their web hosts, "btw, my hosting fee's are $xxx in 2004, and todays market rate is $xx, can we deal?"

Check those market rates folks and be sure you are paying todays bandwidth rates.

I opened a thread titled "When do you ask your host to price match last years pricing with this years?"

The discussion was about webmasters and when to re-negotiate better prices with their hosts to reflect the current market rates.

I caught my own error a bit late, paying $70 (over) my own web hosts current advertised rate for a similar configuration from 2 years ago. $70 for 8 or so months.

Had several replys with cogent expertise. Thread then disappeared.

Check those advertised rates folks!

Clarification,

If you are paying your dedicated hosts advertised year 2003 fee's well on into 2005 (when their current advertised rate is less), then you = ASSHAT

Re-neg those old hosting rates folks. Don't be an asshat like me.
