Heck, What About You Dog Owners? Anyone Got A Bad Assed Dog?

I asked about cats and I've seen some AWESOME pics of some AWESOME cats.

Now I'm asking the dog owners if they have or had a bad assed dog.

I've had some great dogs. Can't wait to settle down and buy some new ones.

Gotta have another St. Bernard, Belgian Shepherd, and Sheep Dog. Lotsa fur but worth it. Especially for living in the country.

I have wanted a Japanese Akida for years but see no reason unless I can go to a show and see how they work domestically. They've got a strong jaw pressure I'm told.

I remember when I was a kid, dogs were dogs. They chased everything and kicked ass. They were like still wild. Some dogs were so bad assed that just ONE dog on ONE block could put sheer terror in burglars and criminals all over the city. Before the yuppies showed up complaining about dogs there was a dog for every block corner and crime was damn near non-existant.

We would get dogs from the military training that were retired and them dogs tolerated no bullshit. They would grab kids and pull them away from the street curbs, grab dudes who started shit and hold em' for the cops. They would even round up other stray dogs!

Don't even talk about huntin' dogs. There were dogs so legendary for hunting that they were retired when they got old and ate TABLE FOOD. No dog food for them! They had gravy and steak! People would travel from miles around just to pet some of these dogs and say thanks for catchin' a bear or deer or whatever was to end up on the grill.

So I know there are dog fans here so who's got a dog that kicks ass?

The Male on the right is 145 pounds. The female in the middle is only 10 months old that's why she's tiny.

There's a pic of my Akita in my profile. I also have a Shepherd/English Mastiff mix.

I grew up with German Shepherds but now that I have an Akita I have to say I prefer them. They're quieter, don't really bark unless there is a reason. They also "baroo" and "talk" to you. Our shepherds were always family oriented but I just feel a bit more devotion from my Akita.

I'll tell you.. it's a challenge.. I've spent more time on my hands and knees around the office with our staff staring at us than is healthy.. lol... and playing with Zeus on the stairs is fun, too... he's still a bit insecure about his speed on em so he tends to tumble.

man those are huge dogs, nice though!

I myself have 2 boxers, they not really bad ass but they are sneaky little bitches. They are just like little kids, the moment you're not looking they do something they're not supposed to (and they know it ;))

not the best pic i have of them, but the only one on my pc

Actually the big male is a gentle giant. The female on the left with the shaved leg from surgery would sooner chew your face off than look at you though. It's always the females.

I spend quality time with my Pit to make sure he DOESN'T turn into a badass. I want him to be as sweet as he can be, and he is. Nicest dog I've ever had, loves everyone he meets.

Why the fuck would anyone ever want a Cane Corso as a family pet? They're only good for guarding, and they hate all strangers practically without exception. I'd only have one if I had to protect a warehouse.

I miss my doggy.
Had to put him down a few years back since he had glad problems and they could not be fixed. Bulldogs are not great with operations etc..
I would love to get another, just not home enough (why I bought kitties)
Here is a pic of Anthony (Tony) Brown (yes I was younger & so my brother & I gave him a real name and a nick name - whatever )

When mine was still a puppy I looked into guard dog training. They straight up said Siberians are too friendly of a dog to attack/guard train. The best I could do would be to train her so that she barks when a stranger comes near.

My Siberian makes a great watch dog....she'll watch the burlers take everything, lol.
