I produce my own content and I'm making a decent living at it. Decent enough to be sitting here in my recliner chair with my underwear on watching CNN instead of working a job.

People thought that I was crazy to start the site but now they're silent since I've been around for 2 years. Plus there are at least 3 clone websites out there who have unsuccessfully tried to copy me.

And the fact that I got a newbie to start a whole thread about me means that I draw attention. That's the attention that the surfers give me and that's why I make money.

And please enlighten me on the successful sites that you are running at the present time. I'm sure the forum would like to know.

I create my own content exclusively at http://www.fareastmedia.com. (Erotic Spanking Movies). So far sales on DVD and VHS have been great, but I am trying to figure out how to take it to the next level as I can't do everything off just direct sales.

Creating your own content is potentially a great way to go though imo. Like everything else, it all depends on if the content is any good...

I used to do my own thing with anime and toons, was kicking while I did it.

With the new Visa regs, I keep wondering how it would have affected me if I was still making my own stuff. For those of you still pushing your own stuff for your own sites, how are the new Visa regs going to affect you?
