YouMorons..
You would prefer to live at war in your house than move house and live in peace not having to worry about your kids getting blown up on a bus or in a disco or shot on the way to school?! With that attitude there will never be peace - peace requires compromise and israel already tried to compromise but got nothing from arafat.. it takes two to tango! Pathfinder.. The current government only came to power when the previous government that offered peace failed to deliver - in other words when arafat walked out of peace talks and started a terrorist campaign the current government was elected to try a different approach - to fight fire with fire. They already have autonomy (although perhaps not for much longer!) in much of the territories - that was the purpose of the Palestinian Authority which arafat heads and was the first step on the road to full independence which they rejected.. 'final status talks' are what they turned their back on.. They have been offered hundreds of millions of dollars in aid by europe, US and the arab states such as saudi arabia - much of what was promised to them was not delivered because money that was given before had a habit of disappearing without trace.. Why would they need a full army? With every country around them but one being arab they really don't need an army unlike israel which is one very small country in a region full of arab & muslim states most of which still don't recognize israels right to exist and whose stated aim is to destroy israel! Israel is a very small place and the palestinian state would be even smaller - a jet would require a runway that would barely fit in the country! You could almost throw stones from one side of the country to the other! Unless arafat is planning on following in saddam husseins footsteps there is no reason to have a big army with that kind of hardware! |

![]() MARK:
The Palestinians have not had autonomy for years and years, other than in a token sense. The concessions made by the previous government of Israel were the most generous concessions ever offered by Israel, but there were several areas of contention that were not resolved and were not accepted by Arafat let alone the various fanatical factions within the Palestinian people. Israel used terrorists tactics against the British and the Palestinians to take control of a portion of the country of Palestine and declared themselves to be an independent nation. The USA as well as other nations recognized them diplomatically. This in turn set off a series of wars, and Israel basically expanded the borders of their country after each war. The Palestinians have been pissed ever since Israel took a portion of their country and then continued to expand the borders. Certain groups of Palestinians have sworn that this will not stand. They have sworn that they, their children, and their childrens, children etc. will not allow Israel to exist. Arafat has little, if any, control over these different fanatical groups. The reason Israel will not allow an independent country of Palestine is the Palestinians, for the most part, are sworn enemies of Israel. If they become a sovereign nation they will, over time, develope economic strengh and begin to build an Army. If Israel stood by and allowed this to happen instead of fighting against, basically unarmed people, they would have to fight against an Army. I repeat the current government, and probably future governments, will not allow an independent country of Palestine. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Israel took what belonged to the jews for centuries, like the Spaniards took back what belonged to them 800 years after they were defeated. The Holy Land was vacant mostly, about 600,000 people, and there was much space for the Jews, but the Ottomans didnt allow us back, that's why there was a jewish majority in some places like Jerusalem and Tsfat. But the problem was that the Arabs didnt accept us even then not even as a minority. At the beginning of the 20th century we hardly imposed any threat to the Muslims specifically and to the Southern Syrians or what we call today the Palestinians as a whole. But they decided to slaughter us, in large numbers. How come that in 1929 they decided to liquidise all of Hebron Jewish community, what evil have they done to them, they didnt have even a political force there. But yet they decided that they dont want jews there. And this decision was made against the jewish different communities inside Jerusalem. My grandfather had to hide with his family from that same pogrom. The question is why? And the answer is that it's all because the Arabs have the mentality of intolerance against those who r not Muslims. In Egypt, in Iraq, Iran, Yemen, Saudi-Arabia, Syria, Lebanon, Algiers, Lybia and even Mauritania. These all cant bear the fact that non-muslims live inside them. Israel is undemocratic? Israel is intolerate?Well we live in a good neighbourhood, we learnt something from our GOOD GOOD NEIGHBOURS. Those who think they can preach us are all those who would have supported the jews during the Nazi period, BUT DEAD!!! ANI SONE ANASHIM METUMTAMIM KAMOKHA YOUMORONS. YAMUT ARAFAT UMAHER, VEYIKAVER YAKHAD IM NASSER!!!!!!! |
