TGP/MGP owners - what amount of surfers bookmark a GOOD site?
I'm trying to do some calculations on my ROI overview of partner accounts I want to buy.
On a broad average: 1 - what % of surfers do you think bookmark a good TGP or MGP? - 2 - how often do they return 3 - how many gallerys/thumbs do they click? |

I was in part kidding but, it does seem that many tgps have lost mass amounts of surfers to blogs. People still do bookmark tgps but I think more often now adays they like the blog setup unless the tgp has no or little skim.

I quickly learned that it doesn't get anywhere close to that. Maybe 1% or so. It's so low I've never really analyzed it. Most trade scripts end up showing alot of hits in the 'bookmarkers' section that aren't really bookmarkers either, the scripts just don't always read the referrer info very well.

My guess would be that 1 out of maybe 20 surfers that bookmarks a site will be using yahoo bookmarks and the rest IE/FF bookmark or simply remember the url and type it in so on 200k of traffic maybe 60-200 new bookmarks / day most of them will visit the site once in a week or a month, some will never again. If you can gain 10 daily returning bookmarkers each day on 100k of traffic you are golden. Just my thoughts
