2005 Suzuki GSXR600
I am looking to get rid of my bike, it's a 2005 Suzuki GSX-R600 it's red and black with a few extras. I was going to list it on ebay but seems like people are steering away from there because of all the scams. Does anyone have any other places to sell vehicles/motorcycles. Or is anyone interested???
Thanks |

Hold onto it until Spring unless you live someplace where you can ride all year round. You'll get more for it. Just sold my Katana 750 this Spring and got over the asking price.

to get the most money for a sport bike return it to box stock condition. usually any evidence of tinkering, rejetting, changing gearing, air filtration, after market pipes, custom paint lowers resale value. do not talk about how "fast" it is, how it will do wheelies, or any performance related puffery. sportbike buyers already know what the hardware will do, and will pay most $ for something that has not been thrashed. if it has never been dropped (or shows no evidence of being dropped) it will command a premium. any evidence of it being dropped should be replaced with new parts. careful buyers will inspect lever ends, nubs on the bottoms of pegs, do a chain pull off check of the rear sprocket, check for runout on the wheels, play in the steering head, etc. best to get those fixed if bike has been abused (as most sport bikes are.) as others have said if you are in cold climate the fall and winter is worst time to sell a bike, and best time to buy. |
