Do you need a lawyer to make contract legally binding?
As far as I remember from law class, you don't need a lawyer for a contract to be legally binding, correct?
I'm going to getting some merchandise from a wholesaler broker and we're going to setup a meeting this week. The guy said he broke off from his company and is starting his on. The supplier that he's using, he hasn't used before, so I was kinda skeptical, he said he is willing to sign a contract that he is 100% responsible and will give us full refund if we don't recieve our merchandise. Should we go ahead and see a lawyer or can we just write this ourselves? I'm just starting small as an ebayer, so if weI saw a lawyer for it, it would defintely cut in th our profits. |

Answer to the thread topic is no.
Though lawyers will make sure the contract itself is legal and hopefully remove as many if not all possible loop holes.

Otherwise lawyers are alot like models. One may be 600.00 an hour in Town A and someone just as good could be 90.00 an hour in town B. All depends on where you live.

No, you do not need a lawyer to make it legally binding. You need a lawyer to make sure you've covered every aspect of the contract before the person signs it.
