90's Music, the high points and lows?

I must be going into shock cause I can't remember any music from the 90s that kicked ass. I may just need some more vitamins.

Were the 90's good or bad?

I think C&C Music Factory ruined us all for 90s music.

80's music is far better than most 90's music. Often way more original and less covered.

You can't be serious right???? Everything about the 80's was cheesy. Where do you think all the nostalgia comes from ? The whole decade is one big "I can't believe we used to think that was cool".

Some 80's rock and rap are classic...but more of it is nostalgia then anything. Music you can sing along too while drunk....nothing brilliant. Thats for sure.

Hmm, popular high points of the 90's: Faith No More, Alice In Chains, Sneakerpimps

low points: almost anything on MTV after about 1995 or so

Alanis Morrisette got going with Jagged Little Pill.

Diana Krall had released four great disks.

Sherly Crow made it big.

Melissa Etheridge was cranking out some really great stuff.

The Wilson girls were playing with a lot of Heart.

Let me think about the dudes.

the same shit will be said about the loser rap artists of today, cmon. You think in 20 years people with a full mouth of fake gold teeth, 85 carat fake zirconia earrings will be considered cool, you know the ones, every brother got em from patel at the flea market for 4 bucks!!

No one brought up Pearl Jam? Weird. One of the few bands that still survives without MTV.

I've gotta agree with you! 80's outdistanced the 90's by a country mile.

NoDoubt is the only band that stands out in my mind as well as the Chili Peppers.
