adwords

Heyz,

Have a problem with adwords. It seems when I start a campaign I get something like 10k impressions, with maybe 70 clicks, and then after a few days it drops off significantly, to lets say 2 clicks and 500 impressions. Anyone know what causes this, and how to prevent it?

You need at least 1% clickthrough performance (i think) otherwise google kills the keyword.

Well if your click thru % drops then of course where is your ad is going to drop and of course that wil mean less impressions. Tweak your ads to get more clicks or raise your bid amount. Also get rid of your keywords that are getting the lowest CTR. They aren't getting the clicks anyways and are bringing down the CTR of the entire ad group.

Also they changed their system and if you ads aren't getting a high enough CTR then you have to increase your bid to your keyword will be inactive. If that's the case it should say it when you check you campaigns. It will say "Increase bid to whatever ¢ to activate."
