What about people who can actually compose melodies and play instruments as opposed to simply compiling samples? But where would the music industry be today if actal musicianship was required?

I was lucky, when I was active as a professional musican, the public actually valued people who could really play live music as opposed to playing samples, and lip-synch dancing, to songs written and played by people not on stage.

At times I wonder what it must be like to be a working musician in these times of fake music/musicianship.

Hey Jace you know Bayfest is this weekend down here right? I booked an INCREDIBLE live PA called "Dead PA" that do a live D&B show complete with real guitars, drums, and vocals. Give me a shout if you want to come down. Also have Klever from ATL (3x DMC US Champ) headlining.

I've listened to Goldie and I like some stuff. I knew a DJ that was heavily into the DnB scene. DnB never really took off in North America the way it did in Europe.

see, this is the type of ignorance I LOVE when it comes to electronic music

I would love for you to listen to my music and tell me ONE FUCKING SAMPLE....you can't cause I don't use any...everything is 100% my hands laying down a beat

real good electronic music is actually harder to create than playing live music...cause real good electronic music is made measure by measure, and step by step...with not one sample used.

and just so you know, drum machines and synthesizers are considered intruments, just ask pink floyd...but I guess since they used samples, they aren't real music
