    $600 Mainstream logo competition

    Hi guys not been here for a while since I?ve been in the mainstream world, hope your all doing well?..

    Anyway to the point since I know from experience there are some great designers lurking on here?..

    $600.00 Logo design competition, prize will be paid via Paypal once the directors have selected a winner, competition closes on the 5th October 2005.

    The name of the company is ?BY THE WAY? and the concept is an upmarket newsletter which is obtained via subscription and aimed at the affluent traveller, which, will feature alternative hotels, watering holes and restaurants etc.

    Target age groups will be 35+ the logo/brand will be used across the whole deal, Newsletter, Website and promotional collateral.

    This could lead to further work as well.

                      thanks there are lotsa guys out there but hes good and fast, the last get me a logo thread was so-so 1 or 2 were ok, plat pimp is a pro and hes good. He made our new V2 logo as well fast and clean.

                                                                                                                                                                                      Your trying to target the affluent traveler, business man...whatever. Your logo should target them too. A nice clean simple design such as Platinum Pimps is perfect. His design might actually be a little to "vivid".

                                                                                                                                                                                      Its the difference between the layout of The Robb Report and Maxim. They both look the way the do for a reason. They target different groups.

                                                                                                                                                                                      Maybe you should do a little more market researach
