People want to sanitize things too much and tell you what you should be thinking about an event, something like this is going to have a lot of view points and thats how it stays fresh in our heads as something real. When everyone starts to share the same viewpoint about it, then it becomes bullshit, not even part of history.
Of course the government doesnt have anyone with any real brains to just tell them to shut up and understand that their differences and talking about the events as something real is what will pay the best homage to those who died. But thats just my ![]() |

In my opinion the buildings should be rebuilt to exactly what they were before. Well of course a bit stronger this time. They have some kooky damn architects getting all crazy with their designs. The best thing that could be done would be to replace what was lost in honor of all that were lost.

I love the new freedom tower design, with the twisted shape and spire... It's much more beautiful then the old towers. As far as this museum... It sounded like a great idea to me, I would have visited it. Sounds like the surviving families are getting greedy to me. I say rebuild better and learn from it. They want to take a step backwards imo.

As for cancelling the museum. I personally think it's fucked up. Just like we have a memorial for Pearl Harbor, there should be one for 9-11. I do not think one's any better, or worse than the other. But they are moment's in time that should be remembered. We all deal with loss in our personal lives over time, and I can understand their point of view it being a sore subject with them and a reminder, but I think them being memorialized would be a bigger compliment than hard feelings. But that's my ![]() |
