I normally use Virtualdub for screenshots, but I've got a folder full of mpeg movies and it will take me hours to do it by hand. Anyone know any good software that can handle the job of creating screenshots of x numbers of movies in a folder for instance?

or the professional and free solution:

just upload all the mpgs onto your server and write a little script using http://ffmpeg-php.sourceforge.net ;)

hm thansk trafficbrokercom .. just tested frame-shots in the batch mode .. it seemes to make the thumbs ok, but it doesn't seem to save the shots after the generation .. any idea what I'm doing wrong?

restarted and it worked.. no idea why
