So I asked my gf to marry me tonight....

yes, we already have a little boy and getting married was pretty much a given. But I wanted to do this right and official and so on anyway.

The big thing was doing this for her family, just as much as her.

I invited her parents out to dinner... after dinner, I had the waiter bring Natalie's (my fiancé) desert with a mystery purple bag in a glass jar on the side. She opened it up and the ring was inside.

So now it's been officially done for all to make no mistakes about it. We're getting married!

It's not the reason for getting married, it's the reason for making the proposal official. We already knew we were getting married. But I never really did the actual proposal... or gotten a ring for her.

I wanted to do the proposal and ring giving for her and for her family.

Marriage was decided before we even had the baby... it was just a matter of when.
