50 inch tv or 42 inch...that is the question

Getting a new sony Wega...but i am so tossing back and forth on a 50 inch vs 42 inch.

as im buying a house soon i dont really know how big my tv room will be....so im being pushed towards the 42 incher..but ill be hella pissed for getting a 42 when i could have gotten the 50

life is rough ;)

i got a 62" toshiba recently. Damn thing arrived defective..now i gotta go a week before they get a replacement.

my living room is pretty small, and a 62 incher in there looks massive. But i dont regret it one bit, so i say go with the 50" if you have to choose between those 2.

I have a 60" and I would definitely recommend going for the 50". You'll regret going lower, so why waste your money?!

I'd go for the 50, if that helps you decide.

I have the 51" Sony Wega and it is great in Hi Def up close, but with regular broadcast you need to be able to sit back aways from it.

I grabbed a 52" Toshiba about 7 months ago. I found the picture to be clearer on the 44" than the 52" Toshiba. I dropped to a 44" Toshiba DLP with no regrets.
