I have wrote them many times and they alwasy get back to me within 24hours. Did you use their web form?

When writting their accounting dept. they also got back to me within 24 hours too. I sent this from my mail client BTW.

Send them another email... If you don't hear from them call one of their toll free numbers. They are a great company!

To the best of my knowledge Paycom doesn't setup merchant accounts for clients.
They are strictly a 3rd party processor just as CCBill is.

A merchant account is where you have a direct cc processing relationship with the bank or a banks risk management company.

hope this clears things up a bit

YOu might want to post your contact info in the thread, so that someone from Paycom can contact you. I'm sending them a link to this thread.

Oh ...... and Epoch / Paycom is an IPSP so we provide billing serives for your sites. It's a thrid party service.

When you write, please put "Epoch / GFY" in the subject line. That makes it easier for me to spot.

LOL thats understandable, many get confused on the particulars.
I'll try to explain a bit better

In its simplest form - A third party processor allows vendors to process cc's via sub accounts under their main merchant account. They take on part of the burden of managing your account and its risk (aka underwriting) for a % of your profits. They accept payments from the bank on the vendors behalf then pay out to the vendors from there.

A direct merchant account takes the middle man out. The bank or its risk management team handle the underwriting and pay out directly. They do not take a percentage of your profits but do charge a basic rate (which is considerably lower than 3rd party rates).

Paycom is a well respected 3rd party processor and a good tooth cutting arena. Once a vendor gets a nice 6 month transaction history and decent monthly volumes they can consider working directly with a bank to improve their profit margins.

I hope this helps and good luck with your business
