So AaronM shows up at my house yesterday

uninvited and unexpected.

is that just completley rude or what?

he didnt even have my address nor did I give it to him. he CLAIMS he got it from a realtor..

but my house is not listed for rent or in the mls.. and isnt it illegal for a realtor to give out private information to a 3rd party? He said he had her look up my name and number or some bullshit...

I personally think he is lying, and he wont tell me who gave me the address, name of the realtor or anything.

now based on my first and last name and it being unlisted in the phone book and 411... is this just not creepy or what?

what would you do in a case like this? its really not even that big of a deal, im not even mad at aaron for showing up, im pissed at the source that gave out my info... other than aaron being compleltly rude and asking my brother togo wake me up (because I was sleeping at the time) what would you do?

I spoke to aaron breifly on icq about all this and he was basically an asshole about it and wont budge, so im currently handling this matter in another fashion...

anyways, what woiuld you do, if you had someone that isnt really your friend, you have never hung out before other than briefly at a show for less than 5 minutes and just shows up at your door step, then proceeds to fed you bullshit on how he got your address to begin with.

Ive since informed him he is not welcome on my property, I hope he gets the hint.

Aaron is a big boy, and there is no need for violence, i have no beef with him (atleast not at the the time nor before....and i was asleep it was my brother) but after this, i just dont trust the guy. its fuckign creepy and and extremely rude to just show up un announced. he didcall my cell 2 times, but the calls went unnanswered because i was sleeping.. so no permission was givin... or was there an alterior motive thinking i wasnt home?

I've gotten people's home address from just a phone number. Unlisted doesn't matter. The trick is convincing or fooling someone in to running a CNA (Customer Name and Address) at the phone company. Not all THAT difficult.

On a serious note (for a change), a realtor would probably be able to do a title search based upon a name. It seems unethical to do it for any unlawful purpose though, so unless they were conned they could possibly get in big trouble.

Because he think's it's not a big deal but you do. The guy is your buddy mabe not a guy you talk to everyday but still gfy family and you are blowing it way out their like he is stalking you or something give me a break. He wont tell you because the simple fact he knows you will drag this out into courts lawsuit dont solve anything and all you need is a name and last name and $10.00 and I could give you a report of ever place you have been to in the last ten years.

That was his house in Austin, he's currently in the Phx area. The pics of Austin made it easy to get his address there before he ever moved in.
