Online is quite different than offline; which is why Playboy eventually had Adult.com / Lensman running things.

I highly doubt you're the real Hugh Hefner, though I'm sure if you are you can understand the lack of believability.

By the way, post count means nothing as to the quality or 'loyalty' of people using GFY. I could get to 10,000 in a week if I wanted, which some people have done I'm sure.

I recall reading this article a couple years back where William Shatner went into a Star Trek chat room. He can't use a computer or type either, but his secretary can and he was sitting there having her type his conversation.

Natch no one at first believed it was him. Not sure what he said but after 10 minutes he managed to convince at least half the room it was actually him. So the fans start asking him questions. Shatner apparently is big into horses and one fan asked about his new foal and what he was going to name it.

Shatner said something about he had no foal, but he did have a horse that was pregnant. Guy in the room said the mare delivered it an hour ago. Shatner picks up the cellphone, sure enough; the fans knew more about his life than he did!! Scary.
