What kind of traffic do you think a gallery submited without partner accounts get?

Let's say you just started submiting galleries today for the first time in you life. So you don't have any partner accounts and you're not buying them, or gallery spots.

What kind of traffic do you think such a person would get? 5k per gallery? More? Less?

Only realistic replies please.

i dont submit to any without partners.

and ones that do allow non partners, you are lucky to get listed, cause they take partners first, and you will probably get listed at the very bottom, if listed at all.

my galleries without partner accounts get 300k-400k of course this is when they get listed on thehun, PK, and RR. When they don't get listed they get 5k-10k or even 20k on a good day. This is about 200+ TGP's

SMALL TGP's!

Sales only come when they get listed on those 3 sites. Thank god galleries isn't the only thing I do.

I don't think I've ever had a gallery listed at PK. Don't know why.

RR is impossible to get listed nowadays without a paid partner account.

if it looks professional, your chances are higher.. if it looks like someone in grade 5 coded your HTML, good luck

dont twist my words around.. i didnt say i never seen tgp charge for spots, i just never had to pay for one? maybe the ones i submit to only list people they know for free & charge everybody else, & frankly, i pay a monthly fee to russiansubmit & get listed to places i never even see.. i only submit to about a 1/2 dozen hand & do the russiansubmitter.the 1/2dozn hand submissions are good for 500k+ the autosumit's good for another 150-190k. i just havent looked at any new tgp & tried to submit to find out it's REQUIRED to pay for a listing.. i dont spend too much times on galleries, i do other things

You won't get REAL money unless you get partner accounts. Get your visa and buy 10-20 partner accounts, test them, keep the good, dump the others, and do it again with other sites

Focus on the big sites, make very nice galleries and you'll get around 50K-100K/day without passes. Doable!

This is not for me. I have helped a couple of friends start on TGP business and I just got another guy asking me to tell him if I think he could profit and I don't know what to say to him.

I can actually give some real input on this.

A while ago I hired a webmaster to submit galleries for me, just starting out from scratch with no partner accounts on a new domain. The content was fresh, the galleries looked good and had only two links per gallery, no pop up tours etc, stuff that should have been accepted anywhere. Making 3 galleries per day, it maxed out at about 5k/day. Needless to say, I didn't continue with that endeavor very long.

I typically get the best listings from sites that I trade traffic with, exchange partner accounts with, etc. Purchasing passes to big sites can help add to your overall sales but if you're counting on them for the majority of your income, you're probably going to be dissapointed or poor. Charging up your credit card with the flavor of the day pass isn't a substitute for building profitable relationships with webmasters who can benefit from your labors.

Humm.. I dunno, I don't have a paid partner account there, and he's posted almost every gallery I've submitted in the past 2-3 months...

that being said, I don't have a single paid partner account because of all the crap I've read about them.. plus the fact that I only do 5 galleries a week...

I wonder if it would still be worth it?

This is true. RR was very good about listing free submitted galleries. Now, they take mainly their paid partner submits. But the way I see it, that's business, so good for them.

honestly, a bunch of us got listed on al4a, rr, and the list goes on, until the nazi's (submitpass) came by and fucked the long time submitters for years, and now anyone can get listed. i think there is only one site i submit to (teen niche) that is ok traffic thats not partner.

There is a lot more to this equation..

I do not use paid submitter passes, and if you submit atleast one gallery a day for your sites you will have some decent traffic consistantly. But, you are not going to have the kind of traffic you would on the Hun, or some other heavy hitters.

RR is good for listing freebies. I've only been turned down once, and it's because 2 links did not work (Oops). So I fixed, resubmitted, and was listed.

But there are two things to keep in mind.

One, if your galleries are complete shit, no heavy hitter will ever list you. Do your homework for what they want. A lot of them vary in number of pictures, quality, size, dimensions, and so forth.

Secondly, traffic is nice to have, but if the traffic doesn't convert, then it's worthless. Conversion is the key. So first you need to have a quality converter, then worry about traffic.

Plus, it's best to filter your submissions to those who send you traffic that converts, or you get some benefit from. If you always get listed on small sites, but never get a conversion, then it's not worth it. Best to track, and submit to quality tgp's.
