Am I on the right track?
At the webmaster show in Amsterdam I got into a long conversation about content, traffic, conversion and retention on a paysite which revealed a few things.
So today I spent an hour looking at the stats on Paul Markham Teens and was fairly happy with what we had. But is it good? Firstly I know nothing about running a paysite, other than doing a content management program and my idea of a design. We launched it in January and when I planned it I had lots of time and since then the content business has taken off and my time to run the paysite is minimal. So not exactly looking to impress you to come over and promote me. But are these ratios good or bad? Chameleon Submitter, we do in the office once a day. 1:1223 Paysite traffic, from banners inside partners accounts 1:55 Review traffic, from review sites. 1:40 Over All with the old tour 1:509 Over All with the new tour 1:417 Just need to know if the site is a no hoper or I'm on the right track. The new tour has seen a 25% rise in conversions and I think it might be a good bookmarker. |

I think those numbers are pretty good Paul....remove the old fart from the logo and it will become even better
