What do I need to take a dog on a flight...
I may have to hop on a plane tommorrow due to a hurricane. Has anyone brough an animal on a plane before? What do I need to get him aboard. Thanks in advance.

i'd call a bunch of airlines up tonight & get each ones policy (if you dont already have a ticket).
other than that, you're allowed 2 carry on's (1 suitcase & backpack is usually what i take). |

you need to have something from the vet that states he is in good health and is up to date on shots.
You also need an approved carrier if you are going to carry him on board. Not sure about what is required for cargo |

i'm pretty sure that taking a pet to Hawaii you have to have them quarantiened for a while prior to the trip. At least that's how it was last time I went.

buy a "service animal" vest off the internet....then walk him right on! Security can NOT ask you what disability you have.
