Nice pic. Dude, there were full on bolts just slamming down in the middle of neighborhoods in pacific beach area followed by what sounded like atomic bombs and then dozens of car alarms. Traffic lights are still out all over town. The sights and sounds were gnarly and pretty cool actually.
Let me say that there is something in the area that I live that really effects the weather. I am just 27 miles south of the border, and all the storm did was drop a few mm of rain. No wind, no lightening, notyhing.
Yep, got hit hard up here in the OC. It turned orange outside and then the lightening and thunder started. I quickly grabbed my camera and ran outside, then it thundered again, so I ran back inside for safety purposes.

We got rain early this morning that lasted til mid morning. Power went out in most of Venice and the Santa Monica guys had to come out and collect up branches and trim trees that were fucked up by the wind.
I love waking up to rain and going back to sleep with it. Odd that it's been 6 months since it rained up here...

Ja, Saw on the news OC got hit pretty good! It was one weird 24 hours. I just said fuck it, curled up in bed and watched old Saturday morning toons on DVD.
I don't take pics of Los Angeles. I've videographed places all over the U.S. and. Yet LA has this putrid brown haze over it that fucks up the colors both morning and night. Griffith Park you can get a good shot of the city but gadzooks, the sunrise and sunset look like someone cut a big fart and it just clings to the horizon.
